I just want to thank everyone again for your time and thoughts over these last few weeks. The cards and emails from many of you were so appreciated. You could see the joy on his face as he listened and he would nod his head in agreement to what was being said. He would then dictate a reply that I could send. The personal phone calls were treasured.

He especially enjoyed the visits from loved ones far and near. Thank you Erik, Darrell and Drew who came to visit and patiently attended to Grandpa’s needs. Thank you to Theron and his family who came from Kona almost weekly to visit. Grandpa always said Theron & Iris gave the best massages. Thank you to Junie & Kimo who always delivered goodies that Grandpa loved….Punaluu sweetbread, tapioca pudding and goodies from Junie’s kitchen that was always prepared with loving hands and heart.

Thank you all for your prayers asking Heavenly Father to provide comfort for Daddy, grandpa, great-grandpa and uncle. That request was definitely granted as we watched him end his mortal existence.

Thank you for the calls & emails that have come since his passing. I look forward to seeing many of you as we celebrate his life on Nov. 8.
