Until we meet again

I would like to honor Gabriel Manning, my wonderful father-in-law. He was the BEST! He always used to say to me,"Thank you for all of my wonderful grandsons! He was thankful for his grandaughters, too, but he was particularly grateful for the boys because they carried on the Manning family name. Since Theron was his only son, he had worried about that.
Grandma and Grandpa came after the birth of as many of our children as they could. Grandma cooked the meals, did the laundry, and cleaned the house. Grandpa cleaned the bathrooms every single day, went grocery shopping, and pruned our trees back so far I thought they would never grow back! But they did. They stayed for a whole month! Boy, were we ever spoiled!
They gave us many gifts (mostly their love and service). But the greatest gift that they gave to me personally was the gift of their son, Theron. We have been married for 43 yrs. I am so grateful to them for all of the wonderful training they gave to Theron and he has shared it with me. I didn't always appreciate it as much as I should have, but I see clearly now what a blessing he has been to my life. There is no way that I could have raised our 11 children without his hard work, love and support! Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa! I love you! Until we meet again!
