Avacado tree and toilet in Grandpa Manning's front yard (Hilo, Hawaii). I believe Grandpa was the one who put the toilet here. There were green onions growing in it last week. The avacadoes from this tree were used to make avacado pie and bread - they were actually quite good! As the story goes, Dad and Aunty Gaylene ventured into the ancient cave underneath this ground to find human remains. The small rock pile near the tree covers the entrance. In the background in the original house built by great-Grandpa (Gabriel, Sr.). Think of all the stories that could be told just based on the things in this picture!
